Judd E. Partridge, DMD
Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Partridge grew up in Utah and received his undergraduate education from Utah State University where he served on the President's Leadership Council. In 2002, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Partridge completed his extensive surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2006. He has published articles in the peer reviewed Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
After his surgical residency, Dr. Partridge proudly served in the United States Navy as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and lieutenant commander. He served at a naval hospital in Beaufort, South Carolina treating Marines and sailors. At the end of his tour, Dr. Partridge was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Medal for his service.

Matthew N. Maxfield, DMD
Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Maxfield grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate studies in biology. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky, where he graduated magna cum laude in the top of his class. He was accepted into an oral & maxillofacial surgery residency at the VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, where he served as chief resident. His training included extensive experience in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including office and hospital based surgical and anesthesia training.
Dr. Maxfield has lectured to many groups including the Virgina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons on current therapies in facial trauma. Dr. Maxfield is fluent in Spanish and has participated in mission trips to Central America. There, he was able to help children who had congenital or aquired facial deformities. Dr. Maxfield is excited to be back in Utah to serve a community that he loves.

Meet the Staff
The surgical staff at Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Utah are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN) to assist in surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
