Make sure you swap toothbrushes or toothbrush heads every four months to keep your brush in optimal shape. You can even discard it sooner if you notice the bristles begin to fray. 

Remember to Use Mouthwash

No dental hygiene routine is complete without mouthwash. A quality rinse can remove food particles and debris from your mouth, but it isn’t a substitute for brushing and flossing. Look for one with an ADA seal of approval, which means it’s both safe and effective.
